PATHANKOT-MANALI – SOLANG VALLEY– DUNDI– BAKARTHACH – BEAS KUND–DUNDI–MANALI-PATHANKOT

CAMP-I -SERAJ VALLEY CAMP

DAY 01, PREPARATION & THE JOURNEY: The journey begins with briefing & updating on Himachal Leisure Camping. Morning depart by motor coach for Jibhi.

ARRIVE JIBHI: Arrive Aut and from here road leads to Jibhi through the scenic Tirthan valley. A confluence of Parvati & Tirthan Rivers at Larji offer magnificent fishing beats.

The access to Jibhi winds through thick forests of alpine trees, which provide an untouched Habitat to various species of flora & fauna. On arrival at Jibhi, the landscape opens up into beautiful terraced fields followed by Rolling Meadows of wild flowers. Arrive Jibhi and be welcomed by Camp Manager for evening tea. Campfire, dinner &overnight.

DAY 02 JIBHI: Morning short lecture on local flora, fauna, ecology and environment followed by familiarization pragramme and acclimatization walk to near by forest. Hot buffet lunch at the campsite.

WHITE WATER ACTIVITIES: Afternoon participate in Rock Climbing, Rapling & Terralene Traverse under qualified professionals. In the evening enjoy live Kuluvi Folk dance & music. Campfire followed by dinner & overnight.

DAY 03, GOSHIANI HIMALAYAN TROUT HOUSE: Morning after breakfast drive to Goshen via Banjar. Arrive Goshiani and visit trout fishing house in river Tirthan. The river flows through Bathad, Goshaini and merges with Parvati at Banjar. Abound in trout, Tirthan offers excellent opportunities to an avid angler. Return to the campsite for lunch.

RIVER CROSSING & WHITE WATER ACTIVITIES: Afternoon enjoys the thrills of professional River crossing and white water activities along with terralene traverse. Campfire, dinner & overnight.

DAY 04, TREK TO SEREOLESAR LAKE: After breakfast, trek to Sereolesar Lake through a thickly narrow path. One can get an occasional view of the meadows beyond the thick curtain of the forests. The onward trek is smooth and downhill. After lunch trek back to the camp, this is an uphill and a little taxing walk. Arrive in the evening for tea & snacks. Dinner and overnight at camp.

DAY 05, GREAT HIMALAYAN NATIONAL PARK: Morning drive to Sairopa the entrance gate of Great Himalayan National Park. Walk in to the one of the unexplored region in the world - Great Himalayan National Park and after 3 hours pleasant walk through the forest. Packed lunch enroute.

SHRINGA RISHI TEMPLE & CHEHNI KOTHI: This afternoon visit Shringa Rishi temple built in Pagoda cum Pahari style, having four roofs and elaborate woodwork. Also walk up to magnificent architectural wonder of Banjar valley-Chehni Kothi. It is a 1500 years old building. Initially it was 15 storeys high but after the earthquake of 1905 only 10 storeys were left. Presently this structure stands around 20 feet high. The ground floor is bigger in area as compared to the upper storeys giving it a cone like appearance. Return back to campsite for dinner and overnight.

CAMP-II-SOLANG CAMP

DAY 06, JIBHI-SOLANG: Morning after breakfast depart for II base camp at Solang.
RAFTING: You can enjoy the rafting at Kullu valley total 14 KMS stretch starts from Pridi to Jhiri SOLANG ARRIVAL: Arrive the picturesque camp site at Solang (world famous for Paragliding and skiing) and be welcomed by Camp manager for evening tea. Campfire, dinner & overnight.

DAY 07 DHUNDI TREK: Morning trek along the bank of River Beas for Dhundi a vast meadow surrounded with alpine trees and from here you can see Inderasan (6220 m) and Deotibba (6001 m) peaks. Return back to campsite for lunch. After lunch free for outdoor games at camp

DAY 08 ROHTANG PASS OR SNOW POINT: Morning drive to snow bound region of Rohtang-Pass (or till snow point)-a divide between Kullu and Lahaul Valley at an altitude of 3,978 meters for a life time experience.

ADVENTURE GAMES: After hot lunch you have options to go for Adventure Games at Rohtang-Pass (3978m) like Skiing, Sledging, Snow Scooter and Tube Sliding or enjoy the magnificent views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers and have photographs with Himalayan Yak. Return to Solang campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 09 CAMP GAME : Morning participate in Camp games like Huff & Puff, Spiders Web, Animal Instincts, Trust Fall, Animal Sounds, Blind Folded Obstacle Race, Tug Of War, Bounty Hunt, Balloon Relays, Ordered Pegs & Sixteen point Compass etc. Hot buffet lunch at campsite.

EXPLORE MANALI: Afternoon leave on sight seeing tour of Manali and visit nearby Tibetan refugee centre, monastery, famous Hadimba Devi temple, Club house and the Mall. Return to the campsite for campfire, dinner & overnight.

DAY 10 PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE: This morning you have an option to go for Para-Gliding or enjoy the magnificent views of snow-capped mountains and glaciers and have photographs with Himalayan Yak. Lunch at the campsite. Farewell dinner &overnight at camp.

DAY 11 SOLANG-PATHANKOT: Arrive PATHANKOT by motor coach in the evening and terminate the memorable Himachal camping.
